This year marked the second time that JAPAN LIBRARY exhibited at both the Association for Asian Studies conference (Washington, D.C.) and the International Studies Association conference (San Francisco, CA). We were able to introduce titles from the brand new 2018 series as well as give out desk copies to professors looking for new and relevant books on Japan in English.
We plan to be back next year at the AAS conference in Denver, CO (March 21th - 24th, 2019) and the ISA conference in Toronto, Canada (March 28th - 30th, 2019). If you plan to be in attendance next year, please drop us a line and let us know! We are always looking to hear directly from professors, researchers, and general readers alike. As always, we will offer all available JAPAN LIBRARY titles at special event-only prices as well as accept applications for desk copies.
This year's annual spring publication saw 12 brand new titles added to the JAPAN LIBRARY series with the addition of the 2018 lineup, making for a total of 39 publications so far (many more to come). With each publication, we hope to add depth and expand the breadth of genres covered in the series. We highly welcome any thoughts, opinions, and reviews of our books. For educators considering the use of a JAPAN LIBRARY title as a textbook or for those who wish to add JAPAN LIBRARY titles to their recommended reading lists, please contact us at email@example.com to request a desk copy application. Details for this year's lineup are listed below. Please have a look and see what titles catch your interest!
